Denis and Sarah met in 2017 and decided to create Love Is In The Room – a collection of Denis’ original songs written over the years with a variety of great lyricists, all arranged by Denis and Sarah and recorded by the finest rhythm section in the country: Dave Olney (bass), Mike Smith (drums) and the composer himself at the piano, with vocals by Sarah Eyden

The King Brothers: Britain's First BoybandThe King Brothers - also known as 'Britain's Youngest Rhythm Aces', 'Britain's Favourite Swing Trio!' or 'The Singing Group That Sizzles!' - were Britain's first boy band. Led by Denis, aged 13, on piano, with Michael on guitar and Tony on double bass, the teenage trio made their name on BBC television and in 1956 became the youngest Variety act to play the London Palladium. Within a year they were in the record charts.
A White Sport Coat And A Pink Carnation became their first hit. More hit singles followed. Mais Oui, In The Middle Of An Island, Doll House, Wake Up Little Susie, 76 Trombones, and their biggest success, Standing On The Corner in 1960 - all recorded on the Parlophone label at Abbey Road Studios.

Denis got his break in television writing the theme for BLACK BEAUTY, which not only won him an Ivor Novello Award but went on to be voted Britain’s second most popular TV theme of all time (the first being his mother’s favourite, Hawaii 5 - 0).
To date, Denis has composed the music for over two hundred television series, including the popular LOVEJOY, and has chosen fourteen of his favourites on this CD.
An original Parlophone 45rpm 1960 recording, autographed in 2012 by all three King Brothers, and personalized to order by Denis King. Limited edition of 15.
